Jacob-I can't imagine Dad's patience when, after my last day working on the first cabin house and I finished cutting all the base trim, Dad discovered that the chop saw was bent and all the trim met at the bottom but had a significant gap at the top.  He never even told me about it (I can't remember how I found out).
